Really Good, Really Cheap, Book Sale!

Rolando Monthly Used Book Sale!

1st Saturday of every month
9:00 AM- 2:00 PM
In the Rite Aid Parking Lot
6405 El Cajon Boulevard, San Diego, CA 92115
 

The first Saturday of every month, neighbors meet in the parking lot of our local Rite Aid located at 6405 El Cajon Blvd to sell used books in support of RCC activities. Donate your books during the sale or throughout the month by dropping them off at 4549 Seminole Drive.

Prices vary from 50 cents for most soft-covers to $1.00 for most hardbacks. Book sales begin at 9:00AM and end at 2:00PM. Feel free to come and find your month’s supply of reading material or help us out by selling and organizing our book selection. We especially need neighbors with trucks to help transport books before and after the sale to our All-American storage unit at nearby Smart & Final. Rolando Street Fair March 29th

The Rolando Street Fair Is our community’s favorite annual event. This is the best intimate street fair in San Diego County. Organized and run by a team of selfless volunteers. This major attraction draws crowds of many thousands. The fair boasts a great musical line-up, great rides for the kids,offers tons of tasty food, and arts and crafts. Spend the day enjoying Rolando, meeting friends and making new ones! Volunteers are needed. If interested please e-mail [email protected]

NEXT RCC COMMUNITY MEETING:
March 17th at 6:30 PM

     
Once a month, RCC invites members of the community to get together, exchange ideas, and hear from guest speakers about topics of local importance. This is a great opportunity to stay informed about our community and city goings-on, speak up if you have an idea, and meet neighbors of similar interests to get things done.

Please join us at our next community meeting on 
March 17, 2015.
Meet and greet begins at 6:30 PM; meeting begins at 7:00 PM.

Topics of presentation include:

David Clarke will be presenting Custom residential landscape and garden design including his specialty – drought-tolerant and native CA plants.

Help beautify Rolando through cooperative work efforts clean-up our catwalks, replanting trees along our streets, or supporting a bicycle corridor through our neighborhood.
