Community Events

The RCC sponsors and promotes many neighborhood-friendly events. Join us for Rolando’s community activities and traditions!

RCC Community Meetings

Once a month, RCC invites the community to meet together, exchange ideas, and hear from guest speakers about topics of local importance. This is a great opportunity to stay informed about our community and city goings-on, speak up if you have an idea, and meet neighbors of similar interests to get things done.

Community Meetings are held the third Tuesday of each month at the United Domestic Workers Hall, 4833 Seminole Drive. “Meet-n-greet” begins in the cafeteria at 6:00PM; the night’s agenda begins at 6:30PM and usually ends around 7:45PM. Unless issues of special significance arise there are no community meetings in July or August.

Rolando Night Out

The Rolando Community Council sponsors a “get to know your neighbors” event called Rolando Night Out. We select a local dining establishment and ask neighbors to join us to share goings-on, the latest community news, and relax and catch up. Check our home page for the latest venue. Stay tuned for updates on this fun neighborhood event!

Rolando Summer Holiday Party Events

Over the years hundreds of neighbors have gathered together and enjoyed our Holiday Parties in December. We hope next year is bigger and better and check back often to get the latest updates.

Coffee Connection

Enjoy a cup of coffee and catch up with your neighbors. The dates and coffee locations change often so be sure to check the website and social media for updates. Bring your own mug and a neighbor to join you. A great way to meet new people!

Community Cleanups

Help us keep Rolando Village looking it’s best by joining in one of our quarterly cleanups. Together we help maintain the catwalks and keep the triangle looking its best. Please follow us on social media or check back to find out when your neighbors will get together for the next event!
