Tis the Season, So Join In the Holiday Fun!

Two great Rolando Community events and a fun night to kick off the New Year!

We hope you join the community for fun and continuing to keep Rolando the best community in San Diego! RCC is always looking for more volunteers for our Events Team, Community Improvement Team, and is filling the RCC Board Treasurer vacancy (until June). Do you have a great holiday cookie recipe?

Bake a batch and bring it to share at the next RCC meeting Tuesday, December 16th.

Bake up a batch of your delicious delights and bring them to the upcoming RCC meeting to exchange with your neighbors.
If you don't mind sharing the recipe then bring a couple of copies to leave next to your dish as gift your fellow RCC members.

Time: 7 pm – 8:30 pm
Located at: Clay Elementary School

 

Is your house dazzling with the best holiday decor?

Enter the RCC 2nd Annual Holiday Light Contest Now!

Once again RCC will host the annual Rolando Light Contest. Rolando is a neighborhood overflowing with community spirit. We want to pick the best and the brightest neighbors lighting up our community with holiday cheer!  This year we will award two categories:
1. Best in Lights (Overall best light decor)
2. Wildcard (craziest and most creative decor)

The RCC Board will be the judging the competing houses on Sunday December 21st.
Please enter by sending Renee Sheldon and e-mail at [email protected] with your name and address to be considered in the festive competition. 

Last year we saw so many amazing houses not entered into the contest that if you know a neighbor who might be interested and would like to be included you can enter for them. Please let us know your nominating a neighbor in the e-mail.

We are looking forward to coming by and seeing your wonderful holiday lights!

Kick Off the New Year Right with Rolando Night Out in January at Woodstock Pizza!

Rolando Night Out is a monthly occasion organized by the RCC Community Events Team to bring dozens of us to a local restuarant on the 4th Thursday of each month. This is a great chance to meet, mix, and mingle with neighbors and discover a culinary delight in our own backyard!

All neighbors are invited to join, prices and menu vary with each location and these are no host events.
