Happy New Year to you, Rolando!

As 2023 comes to a close we would like to wish everyone in Rolando a Happy New Year for 2024.  Please travel safely and we hope you join us on the 3rd Tuesday of the month at our monthly public meetings at the UDW Hall at 4855 Seminole Drive, 92115.  Here’s a little sneak peak at one of our meetings — in February we have candidates of the D9 primary coming!  

Rolando Annual Holiday Home Decoration Contest! Have you voted???

The Rolando Community Council proudly presents the 2023 Holiday Home Decoration Contest.  The nominations are in! Check out these amazing houses and get your vote in by the 31st;

Anyone who is reading this is welcome to be a judge. Go out into our beautiful neighborhood and enjoy the glow of the season. Here is how it works:

1. Each member of the household gets a vote, actually three votes; each member picks their top three favorite houses

2. Voting will run December 15-31.

3. Votes must be in by December 31.

4. Winners will be announced the first week of January.

Yes!  There are will be gifts cards given to winners.

THANK YOU to the Community Events Team for an amazing party!  

December decked all the halls with our annual Rolando Holiday Party.  Thank you to the College Area Community Council for being our plus 1 and bringing all the extra fun!

Shout out to the College Area Businesses who provided food and donated gifts for the drawing.  We loved coloring and creating with Little Fish Comic Book Studio, and sipping Hot Cocoa from Pop Up Picnic.  Thank you to the UDW Hall for providing such a wonderful venue right in the heart of Rolando!

Extra shout out for Santa coming all the way from the North Pole too *wink*.
