« return to September, 2014

Date: Tuesday, September 30, 2014

Time: 6:00pm to 8:00pm

Location: Clay Elementary School

Address: 6506 Solita Avenue

Description: Several months ago, the San Diego Police Department Mid-City Division implemented a new community program referred to as "Law Enforcement Community Walks." The walks are designed so that members of law enforcement can meet with members of the community and conduct a walk through their streets and neighborhoods. The purpose of these walks is to show partnership between law enforcement and the communities. During these walks community members can discuss crime and concerns in the community and law enforcement can discuss crime prevention. Additionally, community representatives are asked to attend. These walks have proved to be very successful in the past. This walk will begin and end at Clay Elementary School-- 6506 Solita Avenue. The route of the walk will cover Seminole Drive, Stanley Avenue, 63rd Street, El Cajon Boulevard, and Art Street ending back at Clay Elementary School.

Please feel free to contact me regarding this matter or any other matter. Additionally, feel free to disseminate this information to everyone in the community. These walks are only successful if we as a community make them successful. I look forward to seeing you there!
